Brooklyn Bound

New Course

Explore historic Brooklyn’s mosaic of world-class institutions, beaches, amusement park, ethnic neighborhoods, and myriad of shopping opportunities.  A local guide will begin our tour at Fulton Ferry, then drive by Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Civic Center, and the Rasputin nightclub seen in the TV series Russian Dolls.  At Coney Island, you’ll walk the 1923 Riegelmann Boardwalk once called “The Nickel Empire.”  Then, you’ll enter Brighton Beach, known as Little Odessa for its population of Soviet refuseniks, for a Russian lunch at the famous Primorski Restaurant.  Before departure, you’ll visit the M & I gourmet marketplace, a mecca for Russian foodstuffs, and the St. Petersburg Trade & Publishing House stocked with Russian books, music and countless Russian collectibles.  Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Lewes, DE Garden Tour

New Course

Join us in “the first town in the first state” for the 22nd annual Lewes, Delaware, Garden Tour.  Visit eight private and public gardens around the historic seaport, including the award- winning Public Herb Garden next to the 1730 Fisher-Martin House. Walk form one garden to the next, or take advantage of the free trolley service to visit locations.  Shop the Zwaanendael Park Garden Market with vendors specializing in garden related items and free gardening lectures and demonstrations.  Lunch on your own.
